Fan turns off during an OnStar call?

Anyone notice this with their Enclave? On our 2011 OnStar equipped CXL-2 Enclave, the fan will turn off during an OnStar call. My mom normally drives the car and she doesn't like this "feature".

Hello everyone. I'm Dave from Chicago. Our family picked up a 2011 Enclave CXL-2 AWD almost a month ago. Here to learn a little more and I have a few questions so glad to be here.
